JOB SUMMARY:
Family Connections Center Inc’s The Circle Drop-In Center's programs and services assist to stabilize at risk of, and literal houseless individuals and families, meeting their immediate needs and providing a safe, supportive environment and a path to self-sufficiency.
The Resource Administrator Case Manager is tasked with serving as an experienced resource by providing coaching/training, technical guidance, crisis support and problem solving in addition to administrative duties to include reporting and maintaining program statistics.
The Resource Administrator Case Manager maintains a caseload and works with at risk and homeless individuals and families in developing a strong case/care plan in partnerships with the client(s), consisting of goals, objectives, and tasks that will help them reach their maximum capacity and conducts outreach efforts with social service agencies working with at risk or houseless individuals or families.
The Resource Administrator Case Manager must work collaboratively with all staff and will:
Goal 1: Stable Housing:
a. Provide affordable housing to people experiencing or most at risk of homelessness.
b. Provide permanent supportive housing to prevent and end chronic homelessness.
c. Advance health and housing stability for client(s) experiencing homelessness, leaving a stable environment or aging out of systems such as foster care and juvenile justice.
d. As a HUD Certified Housing Counselors (education provided to employee on site) ensure client’s success in maintaining housing.
Goal 2: Social & Emotional Well-Being:
a. Provide safe spaces for clients struggling with lack of shelter, victimization, suicidal ideations, and other barriers to accessing services.
b. Provide pathways for self-identified obstacles with support of caring and credible messengers.
Goal 3: Education & Employment:
a. Improve access to education and increase meaningful and sustainable employment for people experiencing or most at risk of homelessness.
b. Improve access to mainstream programs and services to reduce people’s financial vulnerability to homelessness.
Goal 4: Mental Health Quality of Life:
a. Provide referral to mental health services to clients that are housing insecure and in immediate need of mental health support.

WORK SCHEDULE:
Scheduling may include day, and weekend hours (Saturday will be a required workday) from 8am-5pm in an assigned schedule, as well as coverage for holiday shifts annually. At the Circle, we believe clients should have access to services, and supports 365 days per year, and are open each day of the year. Schedules require some flexibility to attend meetings and to cover shifts as needed.

JOB SUMMARY:
The YAB Coordinator is tasked with serving as a YAB resource by providing coaching/training, technical guidance, support and problem solving in addition to leadership opportunities to YAB members.
The YAB Coordinator develops and maintains a strong partnerships with YAB Members, consisting of goals, objectives, and tasks identified by the YAB that will help the YAB reach their maximum potential.
The Youth Action Board (YAB) Coordinator is first accountable to the youth serving on the board, those youth who provide their expertise to create solutions and provide a voice to youth in the state of South Dakota who may be experiencing housing insecurities, as well as identify gaps in services, and help shape processes and programs for participating HUD YHDP (Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program) projects.
The YAB is a diverse group of young people ages 13-24, reflective of young people experiencing challenges and obstacles in our region and state.
The YAB works with South Dakota Housing Development Authority, HUD, and State Continuum of Care, helping to create solutions for youth homelessness.
Mission and Vision of the YAB:
Mission – “We are a youth led group that advocates, educates, learns, uses, and gains resources to create a positive change in the ongoing homeless youth problems in our community.”

The YAB membership is open to all youth ages 13-24, is inclusive, and has representation of many intersecting identities.
In this role, the chosen candidate will be given the opportunity to create what is needed to authentically engage young people in decision making platforms locally, statewide, or nationally.
1) Youth Action Board Meeting Support
· Agenda creation in collaboration with YAB lead (if YAB lead is not ready to independently do this, take the time to support them so they can do it independently)
· Meeting facilitation in collaboration with YAB lead (if YAB lead is not ready to independently do this, take the time to support them so they can do it independently)
· Food ordering – pick up, etc.
· Secretary of meeting in collaboration with YAB lead (if YAB lead is not ready to independently do this, take the time to support them so they can do it independently)
· Venue/location arrangements
· Provide all technological support for zoom, cameras, speakers, etc.
· Create and coordinate a consistent communication plan for all YAB members, YAB adult mentors, etc.(at least 2 texts and one email for each event/activity).
· Track attendance for stipend and relationship development purposes
· Coordinate transportation for those that require additional support. (Prioritize Sherry B. and Krystal R)
2) Youth Action Board Development
· Work alongside YAB in developing marketing team
· Create/brand/review all fliers, reports, etc. with the YAB
· Work directly with schools, youth serving organizations, civic groups in sharing the great work of YAB – keeping recruitment in mind
· Identify organizations who serve youth and see how YAB might participate with them
· Provide follow up personal conversations/coffees to develop relationships outside of YAB meetings
· Create a retention plan for YAB (after 3 absences, follow up coffee; process after first meeting, determination of active vs inactive list – remember once a YAB, always a YAB, how many additional contacts outside of meeting to build relationships/trust/leadership)
· Fully participate in various Coalition meetings and committees; Tie collaboration of groups together, but allow flexibility of individual vision/activities
· Keep all welcome kits, roles/responsibilities, and community requests organized
· Provide on-going resource access and leadership development to individual YAB members
· Ensure the privacy of YAB members
· Bring in training/training tools to develop youth leaders
· Develop a training schedule
3) Statewide Youth Action Board Development
· Participate in all homeless coalitions and networks throughout the state
· Build relationships with youth serving organizations – youth shelter/crisis facilities
· Identify pilot areas for YAB development especially in tribal lands
· Create toolkit using processes, success of YAB development in Rapid City
· Create a marketing toolkit for use by local YAB adult mentors (community relations, fliers, roles& responsibilities, values agreement, etc.)
4) Youth Voice Platform Support
Advocacy at local, regional, state, and national platforms
Assist in leadership development/shared leadership/authentic youth engagement practices
Support YAB in developing training pieces for CoC and youth serving organizations (authentic youth voice, diversity, cultural awareness, shared leadership, trauma informed practices, poverty informed practices, etc.)
Support youth in participating in the following platforms
· Local Youth Action Board meetings
· YHDP TA virtual conversations
· McKinney Vento – Education virtual conversations
· National Runaway Safeline
· Rounds 4 & 5 virtual conversations
· All CoC/PAC meetings for presentation support or adult mentor support (this should include time outside of the actual meeting for prep)
5) Youth Action Board Stipend Management
· Purchase all stipend/technology purchases
· Be the one and only contact for stipends
· Be available after every community meeting/activity with stipends for YAB representation
· Provide reports to CoC or YHDP as needed
6) Community Collaboration Development
· Research and find access to ongoing financial needs of YAB throughout the state (food expenses, especially)
· Connect YAB efforts to philanthropic organizations across South Dakota (ideally alongside YAB leaders)
· Attend and support YAB leaders in attending community network meetings
· Work alongside YAB leaders in developing a list of providers/speakers to share at YAB meetings

JOB SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the on-site Case Manager and Center Director, The Circle’s Overnight Residential Support Coordinator is responsible for providing client-centered assessment and navigation, helping youth and young adults to determine their individual pathway from at risk of or literal homelessness, into self-sufficiency and stability.
They connect with youth and young adults through The Circle Youth and Young Adult Drop-In and Transitional Housing Center, to resources to build healthy and strong relationships and supports in order to empower and accompany them on their path to self-sufficiency.
The Overnight Residential Support Coordinator also acts as a liaison to inform youth and young adults about collaborations with local service providers and direct and indirect services offered by The Circle Youth and Young Adult Drop-In and Transitional Housing Center to assist youth and young adults in navigating any barriers to accessing services and supports.
This is accomplished through spending time helping to operate programs, services and supports through The Circle Youth and Young Adult Drop-In and Transitional Housing Center spaces, outreach to other Rapid City area service providers, one-on-one peer work with clients, and occasionally co-facilitating groups, independent living skills classes and workshops, and social activities alongside other program staff.
The Overnight Residential Support Coordinator works as part of a larger interagency team to coordinate care, supports and services for youth and young adults at risk of, or experiencing homelessness in the Rapid City area, and function as an integral part of the Continuum of Care in the Rapid City area. This position will require a Trauma-informed Care, Positive Youth Development outlook on clients and will work to emphasize healthy physical and emotional relationships with The Circle Youth and Young Adults Drop-In and Transitional Housing Center clients, partnerships, and staff.

JOB SUMMARY:
Family Connections Center Inc’s The Circle Youth and Young Adult Drop-In and Transitional Housing Center programs and services stabilize at risk of and literal homeless youth and young adults’ lives, meeting their immediate needs and providing a safe, supportive environment and a path to self-sufficiency.
The Case Manager is tasked with serving as an experienced resource by providing coaching/training, technical guidance, crisis support and problem solving in addition to administrative duties to include reporting and maintaining program statistics.
This position also serves as the primary contact in the absence of the Center Director. The Case Manager maintains a caseload and works with homeless youth and young adults in developing a strong case/care plan in partnerships with youth and young adults, consisting of goals, objectives, and tasks that will help them reach their maximum capacity and conducts outreach efforts with social service agencies working with homeless youth and young adults.

This is a full time or part time position depending on applicants' availability, our organization highly encourages continued education, and part time positions are available. Scheduling may include day, evening and weekend hours in an assigned schedule, as well as coverage for holiday shifts annually. At the Circle Youth and Young Adult Drop-In and Transitional Housing Center, we believe youth and young adults should have access to services, and supports 365 days per year, and are open each day of the year. Schedules require some flexibility to attend meetings and to cover shifts as needed.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Works to connect clients to ongoing case management support within The Circle Youth and Young Adult Drop-In and Transitional Housing Center.

JOB SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the on-site Case Manager and Center Director, The Circle’s Peer Navigator is responsible for providing client-centered assessment and navigation, helping youth and young adults to determine their individual pathway from at risk of or literal homelessness, into self-sufficiency and stability.
They connect youth and young adults to resources to build healthy and strong relationships and supports in order to empower and accompany them on their path to self-sufficiency through The Circle Youth and Young Adult Drop-In and Transitional Housing Center.
The Peer Navigator also acts as a liaison to inform youth and young adults about collaborations with local service providers, direct and indirect services, and supports offered to assist youth and young adults in navigating any barriers to accessing supports.
This is accomplished through spending time helping to operate programs, services and supports through The Circle Youth and Young Adult Drop-In and Transitional Housing Center spaces, outreach to other Rapid City area service providers, one-on-one peer work with clients, and occasionally co-facilitating groups, independent living skills classes and workshops, and social activities alongside other program staff.
The Peer Navigator works as part of a larger interagency team to coordinate care, supports and services for youth and young adults at risk of, or experiencing homelessness in the Rapid City area, and function as an integral part of the Continuum of Care in the Rapid City area. This position will require a Trauma-informed Care, Positive Youth Development outlook on clients and will work to emphasize healthy physical and emotional relationships with The Circle Youth and Young Adults Drop-In and Transitional Housing Center clients, partnerships, and staff.
